RTMI Launches Dipolog City - General Santos City Route

LTFRB opened a franchise application under the Memorandum Circular 2021-072 (Same Memorandum Circular with Davao City - Marawi City) with a route of General Santos City - Dipolog City, Zamboanga Del Norte via Koronadal City/Tacurong City/Cotabato City/Pagadian City.

This is one of the three Friendship PUB Routes that were opened by the Government to connect the different key cities in Mindanao to help boost the progress of people and businesses alike. 

This specific Friendship route will connect the Cities of General Santos in the SOCCKSARGEN Region, will pass through the heart of the BARMM Region, and end in Dipolog City located in Zamboanga Peninsula Region. By connecting these 3 Mindanaoan Regions means progress, easy access to public transport, especially to those places that are very remote.

Rural Transit of Mindanao Inc. will start linking the Boom City of The South, General Santos City, and the Gateway of Western Mindanao, the City of Dipolog in Zamboanga Del Norte on March 5, 2022.

1st Trip - 2:00 A.M (Air Conditioned Bus)

2nd Trip - 4:00 A.M (Air Conditioned Bus)

LAST Trip - 6:00 A.M (Air Conditioned Bus) 

Fare: Php1,254.00(Regular Fare)

Php1,003.00(Senior/Student Fare)

Davao - Leyte bus routes to open Monday

  Bachelor Express bus bound to Ormoc, by Jaiam Sarabillo (file photo)      Provincial travellers between Davao and Leyte  may now plan their trips as the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) approves the resumption of the Davao - Tacloban and Davao - Ormoc bus route, which may start on  November 23, 2020 .     The re-opening of the two bus routes is in line with LTFRB Memorandum Circular 2020-075, approved on November 19, which noted that the local government units of Davao City , Tacloban , and Ormoc have already allowed buses to operate to their respective cities.     Previously, the LTFRB Central Office allowed certain operators to resume operations from Santa Rosa, Laguna to Davao, Ormoc, and Tacloban , under MC 2020-051A and B.     This will be the first inter-regional bus route re-opened by LTFRB not to touch Mega Manila .      The two routes are operated by Bachelor Express, Inc. , a subsidiary of Yanson Group of Bus Companies centered on eastern Min

NEW TRANSPORTATION SERVICE TO COVER BAY SECTION OF CITY A new chapter in the history of transportation in the Philippines will be written tomorrow when the Manila Motor Coach, Inc., inaugurates its double-deck bus service on Dewey Boulevard and neighboring streets.
